We are a local, woman owned company in the Madison, Wisconsin area. We love creating amazing organic, pure, all-natural health and body products. We hand craft these clean, all natural products in small batches to ensure the highest quality results. We take pride in the products we offer, with no toxic chemicals, perfumes, or animal testing. We believe you deserve to feel confident about the products you put in and on your body, including what you use on your canine fur babies. We only use the highest quality essential oils available in our products.
We are excited to launch our Firewalk Empowerment workshops events in 2019. Our workshops focus on sharing tools and techniques that empower and elevate women and girls. We teach participants how to use these tools in every day life to overcome challenges and obstacles. We also lead corporate team building events. Our passion is to help make the world a better place by spreading kindness and joy one human at a time. Our products can be found at select retail locations in the area, as well as pop up vendor shows and online.
Our Story
After creating natural plant based sugar scrubs from scratch as gifts for clients, friends and family, we decided to take it to the next level.We knew there had to be a better way. A better way of living and taking care of our bodies and our skin without all of the harmful and toxic chemicals in our everyday health and beauty products.
In May of 2017, I was sitting beside a pool in Sedona, AZ, enjoying a beautiful, sunny 80 degree day. I had a couple days off between workshops, and I was catching up on emails and phone calls for my real estate business when I got the call from Mandy. I was about to go off the grid for 6 days in the desert to a women’s empowerment retreat, with no cell phone service, no technology and be completely unplugged. Which for me doesn’t happen very often.
One of my favorite places on the planet where I can actually do that is Sedona. Mandy had called to check in and share some exciting news about an opportunity she had come across. After only creating and gifting our products, we had an opportunity to actually sell our products at a local vendor event. It was a really good opportunity, selling all natural bath and body products to professional, licensed cosmetologist and hair designers!
Wow, that was a no brainer! My first question was, what exactly are we going to sell them? My second question was, When is it? There was a long pause of silence on the line and then I heard a very excited and nervous voice say….18 days. After practically choking on my Selzer I replied, “What!? You have got to be kidding, right?”
I reminded her that I was about to be off the grid and wouldn’t even be home for another 6 days! How in the world would we create labels, names, recipes, and flavors in 18 days? We didn’t even have a company name or a business plan yet. We had tossed the idea around in passing a few times. Everyone loved our products and would say… “You should sell these in stores” however, we had not even begun to really consider it.
One of the last things I said was, “Are we about to go into business together?” and before we hung up the phone I declared, “Well, if we do this it has to have the word Magic in the name.” That was my only request. I promptly opened up my laptop and created a spreadsheet to brainstorm ideas. I’m not sure if it was the hypnotic energy of Sedona, the elevation, the Universe or the buzz of the vortex energy, there certainly was Magic in the air that day. I was energized and excited and it just felt right.
18 days later, exactly 12 days after I had arrived home from my retreat, on May 21, 2017, we launched Magic Moon Productions. In JUST 12 days, we created 3 product lines which included organic sugar scrubs, soothing therapeutic bath salts, and herbal smudge sprays infused with crystal energy essence.
It’s been a whirlwind! An exciting ride that is far from over. We invite you to join us as we continue to grow, share and expand. We can’t wait to share with you all that we have learned, and have yet to discover.
